Arizona Gameco Products & Color Coatings

General Acrylics has been manufacturing Gameco products, color coatings in Arizona since 1991.

GAMECO ACRYLICS are designed and engineered to create a uniform (non-glare) colored wearing surface over both concrete and asphalt surfaces that require a tough surface for recreational facilities and general foot traffic. These coatings were formulated for application over concrete surfaces due to the adhesion criteria that concrete requires, making them versatile for use over asphalt surfaces as well.

Post-Tensioned Concrete Court Reconstruction

Like new court construction, Post-tensioned concrete has become the standard for reconstructing old dilapidated courts. This method allows for New PT concrete slabs to be constructed over the top of old cracked asphalt or concrete courts without joints, creating a monolithic slab that can bridge the cracked sub-base. Post-tensioned concrete courts are reinforced by sheathed and greased steel cables that are placed within the slab. After the concrete has reached sufficient strength, the cables are tightened, placing the slab under permanent compression. PT concrete courts are relatively unaffected by temperatures. If cracking does occur, the tensioned slab holds the cracks together and to a minimum. PT concrete courts require little maintenance other than recoating and have an extended useful life.

  • Remove existing net posts, sleeves and net anchor
  • Demolition of existing asphalt (generally not necessary)
  • Remove existing fence mesh to allow access to the court
  • Install new net post sleeves and net anchor set in concrete footers
  • Form around the perimeter of the existing court
  • Place two layers of 6 mil plastic over the existing court
  • Install Post-tension cables and construct new 5” to 6” concrete slab
  • Tension cables when concrete has reached proper strength
  • Reinstall fence mesh
  • Install new Gameco playing surface with striping
  • Install new net posts and net
