Arizona-Made Gameco Products & Color Coatings
General Acrylics has produced Gameco products and color coatings in Arizona since 1991. GAMECO ACRYLICS are built to provide an even, non-glare colored wearing surface on both concrete and asphalt, giving recreational facilities and busy areas a durable, dependable finish.
These coatings were first developed for concrete because of its tough adhesion demands, yet they hold up just as well on asphalt. Made to withstand the harsh Southwest climate, each batch relies solely on premium 100% acrylic resins and pigments.
- Installed throughout the US and in humid, wet climates such as Guam, proving durability in every environment
- Supports consistent quality control and reliable product availability
- Offered in ten popular standard vivid colors plus five special colors
- Custom color creation available
- Durable, long-lasting textured surfaces that can be tuned for slower or faster play
- Special cushioned systems available

Rebuilding Courts with Post-Tensioned Concrete
Post-tensioned concrete is now the go-to method for rebuilding worn-out courts, much as it is for new construction. It allows a new PT concrete slab to be poured directly over an old cracked asphalt or concrete court with no joints, creating a monolithic slab that spans the cracked sub-base.
PT concrete courts are strengthened with sheathed and greased steel cables set inside the slab. When the concrete gains enough strength, the cables are tensioned, placing the slab under permanent compression. PT concrete courts are largely unaffected by temperature swings. If cracking does occur, the tensioned slab holds the cracks together and keeps them minimal. These courts require little upkeep beyond recoating and deliver a longer service life.
How Reconstruction Works
- Remove existing net posts, sleeves, and net anchor
- Demolish existing asphalt (generally not necessary)
- Remove existing fence mesh to allow court access
- Install new net post sleeves and net anchor set in concrete footers
- Form around the perimeter of the existing court
- Place two layers of 6 mil plastic over the existing court
- Install post-tension cables and construct a new 5” to 6” concrete slab
- Tension cables once the concrete reaches proper strength
- Reinstall fence mesh
- Install a new Gameco playing surface with striping
- Install new net posts and net
